Rhibo Cottage is a cosy mountain eco-friendly self catering cottage, in a remote rural retreat situated near Betws-y-Coed, the "Gateway to Snowdonia" in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. It offers spectacular views of the Conwy Valley, its river and estuary.

Rhibo is a stone built detached cottage which has been tenderly restored to show many of its original features such as timbered ceilings, gorse bread-oven, and a large oak beamed inglenook open fireplace which gives a wonderful and warming glow - a special feature. Naturally, there is TV, DVD Player, Video and a Music Centre there too.

The 2 spacious bedrooms normally accommodate 2 persons each. One bedroom can be configured as a twin or double with a super king-size bed (6' wide). The other bedroom is a twin. A cot can be provided for your toddler/baby on request. There are 2 bathrooms, one with shower.
The Utility room and Kitchen are fully equipped with all mod cons. You will find that the oil fired Rayburn stove offers warmth and continual hot water to Rhibo Cottage with an overhead "kitchen maid" for drying and airing, saving power that is produced using the latest technology.
Crystal clear mineral water, tested to Private Water Supply Regulations is drawn from deep within the grounds of Rhibo Cottage and tastes as water should! |
The cottage is in a stunning location in Snowdonia
This eco-friendly holiday cottage is set 900ft above the Conwy Valley (below) between Betws-y-Coed and Conwy in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Enjoy a quiet relaxing evening after a day spent exploring North Wales - birdwatching, walking, climbing, or visiting one of the many tourist attractions or historic castles in the area. The cottage is ideally located for visiting Snowdonia, Anglesey, Lleyn Peninsula and the whole of the rest of North Wales. There is a working woollen mill in Trefriw using hydro-electric power.
At 900ft, seasonal Welsh weather conditions in Snowdonia can change very quickly. Your holiday experience will be enhanced if you come fully prepared.
